After attending the courses students will be able to:
- appreciate the technological needs of health care
- design protocols for implementing new systems in health care and assess/evaluate the magnitude of their success/impact
- record user requirements of health care systems and collaborate with other professional groups in the design of health services
- apply modern methodologies and use modern systems/technological solutions in the practice of ECEC
- recognize the epidemiological - population perspective of health problems in the community, to know the possibilities of disease prevention and health promotion, through their contact with the full range of corresponding services and programs and the use of technology
- apply new technologies in health care in the community, having understood the range of scientific and functional characteristics that include health promotion, disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation and social reintegration
- better explain the relationship between biological, psychological and social factors, as well as the expectations of patients in matters of diagnosis and management of their problems regardless of age, ethnicity and gender.
